Welcome to Handcrafters House!
2010/2011 International Handi Quilter Dealer of the Year
2010/2011 Australian Dealer of the Year
(Husqvarna Viking, Singer, Handi Quilter, Pfaff)
Handcrafters House was established by Michelle Pearson in September 2003. Gail Dods, the proprietor, wanted Michelle to open a store that would become a crafty hub for the local community. This has well and truly been achieved and after 8 years of trading, Handcrafters House is now the largest patchwork and quilting store in
Western Australia .
The store boasts over 3000 bolts of fabrics and is a certified dealer of Husqvarna Viking, Singer and Handi Quilter machine brands. In 2010 Handcrafters House won the International Dealer of the Year for Handi Quilter. This was out of 10 countries and 750 locations. This award was given to us because of what we achieved with the brand in a little less than 7 months and our knowledge and backup support of the product.
When you visit Handcrafters House you will enter the spacious surroundings and enjoy browsing amongst a vast array of fabrics, kits, tools, notions, books, haberdashery and more. Our freindly and experienced team members are always on hand for helpful service and, of course, a chat.
Handcrafters House holds weekly classes as well as monthly clubs for backup support on sewing and embroidery machines and overlockers. Aside from local talented tutors Handcrafters House also hosts National and Internationally renowned tutors, such as Helen Godden, Gloria Loughman, Jinny Beyer and more.
Several times a year there are quilting retreats held at the wonderful Avalon Homestead in Toodyay, about 45minutes drive from
Midland . Here you get to spend a weekend away sewing with like minded people learning new patchwork and quilting techniques. There is nothing like a retreat to inspire your creative diva into action.
Visit the store today and Be Inspired!
